Our foundation for corporate responsibility is built on the three pillars: Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). With this holistic approach, we actively shape our business future – responsibly and with foresight.

Environmental and climate protection
Through our wind and solar energy projects, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions worldwide and actively contribute to climate protection. The long-term enhancement of biodiversity at our project sites is an integral part of our corporate strategy. Environmental consciousness is also deeply embedded in our everyday operations.

Mobility
For our business trips, we primarily use electric vehicles and trains. We also promote eco-friendly mobility for our employees by offering company bike leasing.

Events
Our goal is to have climate-friendly and waste-free exhibitions and events. For our participation at the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair, we were awarded the Silver Award by the STEP (Sustainable Trade Events Partnership) initiative.

Responsibility towards others
We provide our employees with the appropriate framework to effectively drive the energy transition forward with us. We actively involve citizens and interest groups during the planning phase of our projects. Additionally, we ensure that our suppliers and service providers respect and uphold human and personal rights.

Flexible working hours and models
Whenever possible, our employees have the flexibility to work remotely and adjust their working hours. Part-time and other family-friendly work models (e.g., sabbaticals) are a priority for us.

Cultivating diversity
We create a work environment where professionals and talents of all genders, age groups, backgrounds, and life situations feel welcome. In support of this, we have signed the Diversity Charter.

Inclusion
In South Africa 80% of site staff from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. Furthermore, we take immense pride in our partnership with Reatile Group, a prominent black-owned industrialist company.

Education
The JUWI Spandana Trust came into existence in 2012 in India to empower economically challenged children. We work on improving school facilities, facilitating renewable energy solutions in remote areas and providing educational support.
