JUWI Reports High Demand for Large Renewables with Financial Close of 84 MW Wolf Wind Project

The Wolf Wind project initially developed by JUWI and successfully bid by Red Rocket in Round 5 of the South African government’s REI4P has reached financial close and construction has started. Driven by the energy crisis and the country’s climate commitments, JUWI now has over 4 GW wind, solar, and hybrid projects in various stages of development for large private and public energy users.

JUWI commissions world’s largest solar hybrid project at Egyptian mine site

While the international community is still looking for solutions against the climate crisis at the COP27 conference in Egypt, the international project developer JUWI is in final stages of commissioning the world’s largest solar hybrid project at Centamin’s Sukari Gold Mine, some 400 kilometers south of the conference venue Sharm El-Sheikh.
