JUWI Energie Rinnovabili sells a portfolio of photovoltaic projects to Kelag Italia

The portfolio includes 8 authorized and ready-to-build projects located in Northern Italy, with a total installed capacity of approximately 50.5 MW.

Juwi Energie Rinnovabili S.r.l., a subsidiary of the Juwi GmbH Group, a German multinational with over 30 years of experience in the development, design, construction, and maintenance of renewable energy production facilities, has finalized the transfer of a portfolio of photovoltaic projects to Kelag Italia S.r.l.. Kelag Italia is a subsidiary of Kelag group, one of Austria’s leading renewable energy providers. The portfolio consists of 8 authorized projects located in Northern Italy, with a total expected installed capacity of approximately 50.5 MW.

L&B Partners S.p.A. acted as financial advisor to Juwi Energie Rinnovabili S.r.l., providing support throughout all stages of the transaction, including coordination of due diligence activities, negotiation, and structuring of the financial and economic aspects. The advisory team was led by Managing Director Stefano Galbusera and composed by Associate Antonio Paternostro and Analyst Giorgio Servadio.

Global Law Firm Dentons assisted Juwi with a multidisciplinary team led by the partners Mileto Mario Giuliani and Antonio Legrottaglie, assisted by trainee Bianca Balestri, with reference to all legal aspects relating to the drafting, negotiation, signing and execution of contracts related to the operation, as well as all administrative and regulatory profiles.

ADVANT Nctm intervened with a team coordinated by the partner Piero Viganò, Head of Energy & Infrastructure, and composed of the managing associate Giuliano Proietto and the trainee Tomaso Faà as regards the M&A and corporate profiles; as well as the partner Giovanni Battista De Luca, the senior associate Ernesto Rossi Scarpa Gregorj and the associate Paola Putignano as regards the regulatory and administrative profiles of the operation.
